Now I’m suggesting remaking all the shot in 3D I don’t think it will feel right, however some of the interesting things they brought up in what the original composit lacked could be added I think.

Things like the shadowing on the fighters where some of them should be darker because they are in the shadow of the trench, could be simply achieved. Shadows on the trench might be harder.

Also I’m sure this is already on the list but fixing blue screen artifacts around the fighters and explosions.

Obviously it would be silly to add try and add the missing lighting from lasers and this wouldn’t mesh well with the visual style of the rest of the film however the lighting direction could be fixed similar to how Ady said the outside of the cantina.

TLDR: Just some simple compositing fixes that would really step up the trench run sequence.
