Yes, DanielB. And if AWK does come back under a different name, his signature brand of vapid posts will be more than enough to re-alert us to his presence. And if he drops that, and we don't realize it, then it wouldn't seem like we're actually any worse off.

Beats me. I think that was before my time, but I've heard the name come up a lot.

I'm interested to hear AWK's explanation, though, because I'm not sure what it could possibly be.

OK, here we go. Do you want to know why I put up the thing with the thailland stuff? Think about it. I don't appreciate being criticised for posting pictures of someone who I thinks fits the category in the "beatiful girls" thread. I think a little differently, apparently. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Why anyone does, I don't honestly know. Gaffer tape, I think you explained it best in one of your earlier posts. So I have an attraction to younger girls. Big deal! What's up with people hating that. I didn't think it was friendly to call someone sick, either, sean wookiee. Why did I post the thailland stuff? To shock and anger the ones who seem to have something against the ideas I have. It angers me to have to be restricted that in that forum, and it angers some to read what I posted. Is that a good reason to block someone? Was this revenge that was harmful or threatening? No. I didn't want to create a sock account on here like I did on wikipedia, but I couldn't really communicate with you guys any other way, and it be quick and open like this.

Well, just remember that I only agree with you up to the point that it's possible for children to be considered beautiful and that there is a fine line between beautiful and sex object. I think some members here may have started the witch hunt too early, but you did a lot to provoke them once they started, and you ended up digging yourself in deeper and deeper.

Yeah, that comment was meant to piss them off. I think it did. I requested to Jay through email a few minutes ago that I be unblocked on my regular account. I told him all that. The thing I don't get is: I thought this was supposed to be a discussion board. People will take offense at anything like that. I shouldn't have to restrict things like that becuase others don't agree with me. However, just to be civil, I did actually remove the pics earlier today. Yet still, they complained.

Actually, I have had quite a few preservation threads, and much discussion on the theatrical cuts vs special editions. I do try to make useful contributions, it's just that the bad ones have outnumber the good ones. On wikipedia, I have had a total of four indefinate blocks ovr a three month time period. But after the fourth, I reallized that they were serious and what the real purpose of the internet encyclopedia is. If you'll check my edit history on my new account "The Wookieepedian," it has been about a month and a half, and I have done absolutely zero vandalism. In fact I've even helped report a few vandals to wikipedia. Now, I spend most of my time editing the star wars articles, and not vandalizing the George W. Bush page.

The AYB comments are for fun, like I said before. What would it hurt to create a thread for that and that only? It certainly would clear yp the AUB stuff on all the other threads.

That's just how I post. It's not meant to be stupid most of the time, it just comes out that way. (Of course AYB is meant to be funny, though). One of the threads I did work on to contribute was the SOTE thread. Yeah, not much, but I found the damn thing, and posted it, and was in a discussion of preserving and restoring it.
