There is an article about the release of the DVDs in the washington post today… I’m debating sending a letter to the editor.

The special features do sound tempting… But I shall contuniue my boycott of the DVDs.

it's fun that in almost every non-fan review that i've seen, they mention that some people are less than amused over the OT not being released. at least it keeps it in the public eye. though, most say something like "well, george did it *his* way".. like he's (still) some sort of innovative rebel.

and as far as the special features go, it's pretty much not worth it for those. the commentaries are pitiful. i was VERY disappointed with them. the documentary is cool, but not worth owning, just go rent it somewhere. the lightsaber doc is fun. as is the vader one, i guess. sort of. eh.. nevermind, not really. the trailers are fun to see though. almost worth it.

I've got the DVDs. They are still wrapped. I haven't even opened them.
