Who ever said I am 100% against the death penalty?

Not me. Ever. You see, once again people have taken another's words out of context. All I said is that I don't like Bush. That's about the only concrete opinion I think I had in that little diatribe back there. Everything else was just pointing out the hypocrisy of the religious right.

And as for taking the high road... *sigh* ...no. There are certain people in this world who just need a bat taken to them. Plain and simple. I never claimed to be a pacifist, ever. I never claimed a lot of things. People instantly label me a liberal because I don't support Bush, but my socio-political beliefs are slighly more complex than anything a single word like "liberal" or "conservative" can encompass.
For as much as some people claim to hate what Star Wars has become, they sure seem incapable of shutting up about it.

I think the real problem with this election is that neither candidate seems overwhelmingly great. Unfortunately, I know a large number of people who wont be voting on the principle that they dont like either candidate - AND - feel that voting for a 3rd party candidate is a waste. (Thats a whole different debate). The thing is, there are people who dont like the candidate, and dont like the two-party system. And there are people who are not US citizens who are glad they dont have to make this choice. Some people seem really comfortable with the "lesser of two evils" thing. I personally, am not.
It makes me miserable that this is the first National Election I get to participate in. I love America, and I love the concepts of Democracy and equality it was established on - but man, im telling you that its going down the shitter politically.
If you are pro-Bush, thats splendid. Im not. I dont think war, for any reason, is ever right. And yes, that does make me a pacifist. AND NO, it does not make me ok with things like Sep 11. (Once again, I digress into another debate).
I really think its unfortunate that it boils down to a two-party election. Where I wager that a high percentage of people feel like we, as Americans, lose no matter who wins.

I hate Rap music. Look at the things we hate thread. Rap really hurts my ears. So I should call someone those things even if they deserve it. Next you will be saying its wrong to call Osama Bin Ladin a terrorist. I see abortionists as dirt. Both the women who want them and the doctors who preform them. They did the most dispicable thing a human can do. Yet you insult me for not having respect for them.

Personally I have a strong disagreement with Bush on the Patriot Act. So I don't love everything about Bush. Still John Kerry voted for the act as well so no points for Kerry on that score.

See, we agree again. Yes, they are dirt. It is, indeed a most despicable act.

But your statement was that "I don't think I have been offensive to women." You made no distinction between normal women and pro-choice women.

I think you have been quite offensive, regardless of who you are talking about.
As for my statement, "even if they deserve it", I refer to a certain blond hotel-chain heiress and another blond, freshly-married pop singer. I believe these 2 may deserve being attached to those words, but you would never hear me saying it publicly.

I believe all my insults have been directed toward abortionists man or women. I believe I have made a very clear distiction between abortionists and good decent women. So what about foul language. Thats what I love about talking online. You don't have to impress anyone hear.

I'm still looking for the comment, but you referred to her in one of the terms I used in my first post on this issue ealier today. If you recall, I then chastized you for it, and you came back at me surprised about it.

I remember specifically saying "A woman should be placed on a pedestal (high enough to see up her dress)" if that helps jog your memory.

The search function isn't letting me go back any farther than August 25.

Its page 22 for me seeing 20 posts per page.

You cannot do it in real life, so you do it online?? That's almost as 2-faced than Kerry (I say almost only because Kerry is moronic enough to do it all the time in real life).

Yes but I am not running for President of the United States. Kerry is incosistant on important issues. I am just someone who loves jokes and Star Wars.
