Suspects? Plenty!
The new gendarme chief arrives to question the dead man’s wife … err … widow.
Who also happens to be the chief’s mother.
Passable mystery has several convolutions, and probably too many suspects.
Fantastic scenery (view above is from “mom’s“ balcony).
Watchable, though not especially memorable.
