That makes so much sense! I always found it strange Vader wouldn’t discover an child named Skywalker living with his relatives. This at least takes one part of the equation out. Still, nobody in the film mentions the name Skywalker until that line, including Obi-Wan, so this would’ve had to have happened offscreen, which I suppose it plausible.
