I don’t think the delivery of “You are nothing” works as Palp’s final line. And I think “scavenger” is just as personal, even more so since Palps could tell anyone “You are nothing”, but he’s specifically telling her she’s still just a scavenger, not worthy of calling herself a Jedi, but she’s refutes him and asserts herself just as you said.
