this format war is very similar to superaudiocd vs dvd audio which both failed because people still own cd players and many cd's. Whichever format is backward compatible with the current dvd market should corner the market, although whichever fits more data and is higher end quality is what the studios and users of the format will want. Never mind microsoft they are still not following the rules after their gov. anti trust lawsuit, they are still a monopoly buying out smaller company which is illegal in america for obvious reasons capaitalism being the formost amoung them. They are still hijacking people's computers to msn.com as their home page in their software windows, and I had to put several filters and blockers on my computer to prevent it and stop using internet explorer and use firefox.
It's bad enough that bill gates made an evil deal with mr. lucas which makes most star wars games come out on the xbox or mirosoft pc systems, and no others systems for most games.
