Yes, Grindhouse version thats very good. I just checked out scenes from Respecialized 97’ and its excellent! There s something about the 97’ SE that I just like having and viewing from time to time even though that Jabba scene is tough to sit through for me. Really enjoyed the color grading, the early Tattoine shots look terrific.
I might be the only one that prefers 97 Jabba. Yeah he looks terribly outdated but he’s got personality.
I prefer the 97 version too. But I guess it’s probably just nostalgia - I was a kid when the 97SE came out, so I do have a certain level of nostalgic feelings towards it.

I hate to such a pain, but I’ve been reading through all these pages for long enough that my back is killing me, and i can’t find where to D/L the actual Files. I read about the Mega Server (great site) but I can’t find a link to the Mega D/Ls for a BDMV Folder.

All the details you need are there. Section 3, Step 7 of the guide is the most important bit as far as the actual Mega links are concerned.

Watching the recent 4k97-IV I notice the respecialized subtitles make a mistake which I think was sourced from TeamBlu’s for the Jabba Scene on putting 15% & 20% where the 35mm print had the numbers spelled out. Hopefully it’s corrected for a V2.
All my life as I looked away to the future, to the horizon. Never in my mind did I know where I was, what I was doing.

Go to the ‘ultimate introductory guide’. There’s instructions there about how to get the Despecialized editions, as well as this respecialized.
