It's your release, if you can do good menus (and it looks like you indeed can), go for gold son. Sure leave that in the X-VIDs, then at least people have a way of knowing the DVD-R is the original treatment. I wouldn't put the THX logo in, I'd put the LaserDisc logo in instead, it's more of a homage especially since you're not mastering from a digital source (yeah I know the audio's digital). You can put your name in the menus all you want, but I don't think that's the thing people are going to look at and say "wow, it was made by MeBeJedi" - especially if they don't know of the origins and it's just getting passed around, it's just a name to them that will be pretty meaningless. Everyone else already knows where it came from. And like I said before, you've taken the next step on the ladder - you weren't the first and so you built of what other's had done - you learnt from others (and it looks like you've done a bloody good job).
