Thread Subscriptions

Jay:

Will our thread subscriptions be "reset" in the new software? More importantly, will it offer a way to unsubscribe to forum notifiers? I'm finding myself inundated with either PMs or emails for thread subscriptions that I no longer care about, and I can't see any obvious way to unsubscribe to them (I'm probably missing something obvious, again).

along the lines of this, i thought i remembered people saying you couldnt subscribe to a thread unless you post. Will you be able to just subscribe to existing threads without having to post something.
Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

The shortcomings of FuseTalk become more and more apparent as our membership grows.

Thread subscriptions will not carry over.

Subscription requests and management will be improved in the new software. You'll be able to subscribe to any thread at any time without posting in it, and you'll be able to delete thread subscriptions within your profile.

Actually you can subscribe to threads without a posting now. <- When you click that in a thread you want to subscribe in you get to a page that gives you that option.
Also, if you click the today button in the upper right corner. You can manage your subscriptions there in the left column.
