The sound of this LD is Stereo and not Dolby Surround because the original 1977 French mix for the movie was only a two-track Stereo mix, due to limitations of French theaters at the time.
Is that true?It would be fairly quick for me to sample the French soundtrack and post it as an AC3 file for people who want to patch the DVD themselves, like I did with the mono mix. But there will be a little gap in it where the dodgy side change occurs.
However, I'm going to get on with ROTJ first, as that's what most people are waiting for (and if I'm not careful, Citizen will have done it in five different formats before I've even done one
