Six months?

I thought it was more like six days…

Well, it’s actually 9 days.

If you count out the sunrises/sunsets on Coruscant, it’s 7 days. But Rebels says that Luke and Leia were born 2 days after Order 66, despite RotS showing them being born 1 day after Order 66, so it must be 8 days. But there’s no reason you can’t just stuff in a 9th day so this was just an opportunity to flex knowledge of a movie I don’t even like.

The logic of how many days anything takes in the Star Wars universe never made any sense to me, sequels, prequels, or even originals. Maybe it’s because I’ve been editing the prequels enough to notice how crazy it all is. In Episode II, Obi-Wan’s plot line seems to take a lot less time than Anakin and Padme’s plotline. In Episode III, everyone keeps moving back and forth between planets, making it hard to determine how long things actually took. You have to factor in so many things, such as how fast the ship is, how long an average flight may be, what time zone the planet is on, etc. I gave up trying to understand it all by the time I finished work on Episode II. I suppose if there’s a super-nerd on this forum, we could all use his help in solving this mystery.

Then again, I’m off-topic.
