hh’s idea of Rey being the one who killed her parents or do you already have something else in mind?
I remember that idea being floated and I’m a fan of it. I don’t recall if the details to make it work ever got properly ironed out? If so I must have missed them. Personally I couldn’t find a way to crack it. As is in my edit Palpatine still kills her parents, but here the reason given is because he supposedly saw that Rey would kill him and take the throne.
