You are telling me, in two years its the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars as well, god I wish I thought up and made Star Wars I would have settled for maybe 100/1000th of the cash hes made, but you have give credit to George for creating such a winner and having such good business sense..

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Star Wars has always been about the merchandising my man - are you old enough to remember C3PO's?
I agree that I am sick and tired of endless waves of...stuff. I mean, what kind of world do we live in where a Yoda costume for a dog is available, but not a set of the original trilogy on DVD. And I swear I'm not making that dog costume thing up. It's scary...in a cute kind of way.
Now, if there was a pirate or ninja costume for a dog I'd be all over that like Star Jones on a butter croissant.
Next up the Star Wars bowling set
From theforce.net
The Star Wars Strike Force Bowling Leagues are getting underway this fall, with a pair of exclusive Star Wars collectable Package: One includes a SW bowling ball, SW bowling bag and award certificate and the other includes a Darth Vader Standee 6 movie posters and a cap. Look out for the flyers in Sundays paper, which includes coupons and vouchers..
My sibs and I are on this. Just started last night. As I said in my earlier post, there is a big difference between merchandising and whoring. And I want my Darth Vader bowling ball!
