I like all of those films. The Kurosawa films, Lone Wolf and Cub, Samurai Trilogy, the Zatoichi Films.
Any fans of Akira Kurosawa? I believe that both Dave Filoni and George Lucas shared in multiple interviews how they are huge fans of old Samurai movies, among other things and drew inspiration from them when coming up with cinematography, narrative themes etc.
The Jedi episode clearly payed homage to Akira Kurosawa and other Japanese directors: https://youtu.be/wuWFRIViGKQ
Https://youtube.com/LoreFreak I’ve been a Star Wars fan my entire life. The franchise truly affected me and I wouldn’t be who I am today without it - I’d like to share my passion while also trying to give back to the fandom.

slope game online
Hanzo the Razor trilogy
Nemuri Kyôshirô series
Lady Snowblood (first film better)
Shinobi no Mono series
That’s a great observation! Kurosawa’s influence is undeniable in Star Wars. The stoicism and moral codes of the samurai really resonate in the Jedi. It’s cool to see that acknowledged. Speaking of visual intensity and simple but addictive games, if you’re ever looking for something quick and engaging, you might enjoy Slope Game
. It’s nothing like Kurosawa, of course, but it’s got that focused energy in its own way.
Ronin in Visions is very Kurosawa inspired.
It was so close to Seven Samurai i was like holy crap.
Plus, its very Yojimbo like in its Mifune Esque Ronin Sith.
And its strange that a Sith is the good guy, well its Legends and not canon.
