You have the Blade Runner workprint? Of the original version? That needs to be preserved on DVD! Have you told the guys over at the blade runner thread about this?

Which thread is that? I don't see anything recent in the forum other than that Bladerunner DVD covers thread.

Anyway, it's a camcorder bootleg of a screening of the Denver/Dallas workprint shown back in 1990 shortly after it was discovered (read all about it in Paul Sammon's "Future Noir" book). Being a camcorder bootleg, its obviously not going to be great quality but its definitely watchable and is reportedly the only known copy of the workprint circulating out there. I got a DVD copy of it over a year ago. It's similar to the 1992 Director's Cut with no narration by Ford and no happy ending, but it's missing the unicorn dream. It has alternate titles at the beginning with the "dictionary definition" of what a replicant is. It also has minor bits of scenes in it that aren't in any other version, such as the topless dancers wearing hockey masks in one of the street scenes in Los Angeles. "Future Noir" really details every little difference in this workprint version compared to the theatrical/international/1992 dir.cut versions if you have that book (which I highly recommend!).

I've seen this sold on Ebay before, so I know other people out there have it. That's why I was waiting to see if someone else torrented it first just to save me the trouble of doing it myself.
