Sadly, I doubt that. Isn’t the new set just a repackaging of the previously released Disney Blu-Rays which were just the 2011 editions with the Disney logos slapped on? Even if it’s going to be the “4K” stuff from Disney+ it’s that’s just the 2011 editions with some further and inconsistently altered color timing/background matte plates and the infamous “macklunky” sound modification (at least we get the 20th century fox fanfares back again)? If there were any “new” deleted scenes, we would have heard about them by now, surely?

I’ve since restarted work on the scene, using the 2019 BR as a base as the colours are a bit better, and trying to fix the errors in the Deleted Magic footage like freeze frames and such. This first section took the longest, so hopefully the backend of the scene will just be colour work.

Honestly I realise how much of a mess the backend of the scene looks. I did remove the credits from the last segement though with After Effects which is neat. It looks a little dodgy when it goes over his face, but it’s not horrible

Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

I like Harrison in this scene. Its too bad the Greedo scene relays the same information. So its reason for being excised makes sense. Still nicely done restoring this.
