And in that respect, you'll probably actually SAVE money on peripherals, as far as light-gun games, fishing games, etc. go. I have mixed feelings on the subject. I think that they're approach to their new console and gaming on the whole is a lot healthier than Microsoft and Sony's. Microsoft and Sony is saying pretty unabashedly that they'll be doing the same things they've always done - juice up the graphics 200% or more, maybe a little more internet stuff. Nintendo seems to be wanting to open up more gaming possibilities.

On the other hand, descriptions I've read on IGN.com confuse the hell outta me and a STILL have no idea how the controller works.

I might buy a GC soon, and see how I go. I'm pretty late to buy next-gen these days (I bought my XBox early this year). Then again, I'll probably end up buying whatever has the most Sega games.
