Looks like it was in fact removed. Here it is put back into the Mustafar sequence:
Definitely needs some color correction. There’s a green hue over it. Not to mention the fact that it is slightly abrupt (and I know how much some people here dislike abrupt shots). That said, there is plenty of camera flipping leading up to it so it feels natural to me at least.
Have we already discussed this reintegration? I don’t remember. If we have I’m sorry for bringing it back up again. I just feel like adding anything to the Mustafar sequence, even if it is only a second long, is worth it.
Sometimes less is more. We all agree Mustafar feels too fast. But adding a blink and you miss it shot to pad the runtime isn’t going to make it feel less rushed, in fact it would do the exact opposite.
I agree that it might not make it feel less rushed, but I completely disagree that it would do the exact opposite. It’s just kinda there.
Honestly I just like the shot because it’s referenced in the novelization. Basically it’s described that he was in such a fit of rage in the fight that he had to shake himself out of it.
