We always say, "there is no gatekeeper." Also known as the gatekeeper phenomenon. That is to say, anything that gets mentioned can be (or for some people, must be) visualized. Sometimes you just don't get the picture, but that's random luck, because there is no gatekeeper on the imagination.

After explaining the gatekeeper phenomenon, we usually drive our point home by saying:

Your mother in leather.
If you're going to take forever, then I'm having a hotdog!

What? Mentioning Jennifer Garner on the Beautiful Women thread without posting a picture? Why are you torturing us?

Actually, though I really find Garner attractive, anytime I've seen her in the past three weeks has only served to remind me of my ex-girlfriend. She's an Alias fanatic and we watched Alias fairly often. Alias is a good show, too, and even that's ruined for me. Damn!
