that may be your take on it, but I assure you there are many,many people who believe the rebel flag does stand for slavery and those people might be offended by its use in the movie. And I don't want this to go off in a tangent but slavery definitely was the main issue of the war between the states. It may not have been the only issue but, it was the main one.
