How much money would you pay to see the original OT on the big screen?

Just curious. What if instead of Star Wars 3d, Georgie boy gave us fans a special run of the ORIGINAL original Star Wars movies? How much would you be willing to spend to see the SW trilogy? I might be willing to pay up to $100 for all 3.
George Lucas was seduced by the dark side. The OOT ceased to exist in his mind and became the Special Editions...." "They're more maching now than movies. Twisted and evil."

We'd probably boycott the theaters until he releases them on DVD, then go see them in theaters.

Maybe five dollars. Not gonna give GL blackmail money. I'd pay just as much as a normal movie ticket costs. Imagine if he charged 100 dollars for the O-OT... Geez...
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Anything within reason, but I am weak I would probably pay the same to go and see the next super-edition as I have no willpower to avoid seeing Star Wars on the big screen

I'd offer up everything I have and more - and then I'd sell some stuff so I could put up even more money.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

I would probably pay something ridiculous like $20 Australian for each in the trilogy. Oh wait, that's only $5 more than I normally pay to see a movie!

I hope that video rental stores bankrupt the cinema one day. They deserve it.

Yeah, I'd pay no more than the price of a regular movie ticket. He's already siphoned enough money from me. I'm not going to give him a fortune just so he'll give me something I feel I have a right to see. I think we'd have a right to be really pissed if he felt he was in the position to charge $100 a ticket to be given the privilege of seeing a movie.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Oh c'mon - anyone here would pay whatever it took to see a turd emblazoned with the Star Wars logo onscreen for 2 hours much less the OT.

Let's stop kidding ourselves here. If it's Star Wars, we're like baby wolves to the teet.

As far as a turd emblazoned with the Star Wars logo, apologies to 'Phantom Menace.'

Talking of the Phanton Menace on the big screen..

In all honest truth my willpower and love for SW didnt stretch as far as seeing The Phantom Menace at the cinema, I got a fair quality "cough" VHS sometime like a week before, then me and my mates decided on the spot what a load of crap it was, and would be better spending the ticket price down the pub.

From 77 onwards it is still the only SW or SE film I have not seen on a cinema screen, though in a way I do regret not seeing it at the cinema as it was a Star Wars film

I'd find a way to get in the theatre for free. Or if the price is higher than a normal movie, I'd pay for another movie and walk into Star Wars.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

Yeah, we've all paid enough to Lucas that we deserve a few free ones.
