As one last point worth mentioning, those 2 copies of Adobe also come in handy because I could literally edit on one copy (2019) and then import that file project and render on the other (2020) after it was done. This was useful as a time saving measure because it meant that even having a 6-8+ hour rendering project meant I could still do work and get the next project ready. Having 32+ GB of RAM in your system helps with multitasking like this.

Mind you, I also had to import and retime subtitles files with Aegisub to make english subs available for (most) of my releases as well. Another rather time consuming part of this process, and one that was more complex depending on the nature of the edit itself. The more changes I made to the films, the more complex editing the subtitle timing became. Luckily, most of the Clone Wars TV edits were fairly simple cuts, so that part wasn’t nearly as complex as creating good subtitles for say… the Revenge of the Sith edit was.
