But I make GWB words mine: I don't hate the american people, only its government. I think the american people is one of the most brilliant, inteligent, funny and warm-hearted people around, altough I still belive you guys could get a little bit more "loose" and not so "formal" and stuff. So sad I can't say the same about the people who rule you. too bad you can't have canadian politicians running the place.

Thanks Ric. Although I cannot say that I don't hate some of the people in my own country. I do agree on the idea that we need to loosen up a bit and I think that probably should start with the FCC and Congress. Talk about having broomsticks shoved up their asses sideways.

Yeah, I heard that was going to be happening. What's being asked?

Well its happening right now. It seems that Rumsfeld and his sidekick generals cant answer one simple question. The senators keep asking them relatively easy straightforward questions but they cant seem to answer them. For instance: They asked Rumsfeld what is the general instructions of a guard, and he just curtails the question with blabber. One senator asked one of the generals "When did you first see the (torture) pictures?". General: "Uh....uh....sir...the investigation....first learned about the pictures...uh.." Senator: "I'm asking when did YOU first see the pictures?" General: "Uh....sir....I first saw the pictures....the...last week of march." Senator: "And who did you first report the pictures to?" General: "Uh...sir...the investigation..". etc...

Overall they're making Rumsfeld look really stupid and embarrased and they keep bring up the possibility of his impeachment and saying "Many people have called for your resignation."

And just a few minutes ago Rumsfeld admitted that there was more video that hasn't been released to the public yet. Rumsfeld: "Sir if that video was released to the public it would be devastating. I watched it last night and it just made me sick."

MSNBC also said that protestors interrupted the hearing earlier, but I didn't get to catch it.

Can a Secretary of Defense be impeached in the same sense that a president can? I mean, he's appointed to the position by the president. It's not a role we vote on. I would think he can only resign or be fired by the president. God, could you imagine having the SOD be canned in the middle of a war?

Is it me, or do you guys also feel like Bush is going to take full dictatorial powers (as Hitler and Palpatine did) very soon?

Yeah, he did. Sure looks "over" to me. It's pretty standard in warfare for more people to die after the declaration of the end of the war than during the war, right?

(sarcasm mode is now turned off)

More photos of abuse abuse

Private England's (The woman solder in the photos) family has come out and said that she was only following orders. Yeah, she certainly looks unhappy in those photos.

Oh yeah, definitely looks like she was doing it against her will or better judgment. And what the hell kind of order from on high demands you do this sort of thing to POWs?

I thought that was Arkansas or Tennessee.

Nah, not Idaho. Needs to be south of the Mason-Dixon line.

I don't think that one is either. Could be wrong. Kansas is a border state. Dunno if it's south or north of the border, though.

Usually, inbreeding is associated with Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, some of North Carolina, some of Virginia, apparently West Virginia, and some would say Kentucky as well.

You are all wrong. The in-breeding jokes are usuallly made about ALABAMA.

If you don't know where that is, find a map.

Also, notice that if British Royalty imbreed, it is called "keeping the bloodline pure," but if anybody else does it, it is incest.

Double Standard anyone?

Definitely a double standard. Funny all the same.

And yes Alabama is a big one. But I've heard a lot about Arkansas and Tennessee.
