Would it be possible to show both sabers fizzle and fade as they destroy Palapatine? Just in the final moments of the “All the Jedi” bit, then fade out completely on that final shot where Palpatine and the Sith Throne blow up? It would work great as the final payoff to the added crackly saber and RogueLeader’s idea to make it even more unstable (in the literal sense of dealing with malfunctioning sabers, having them finally “give out”). And it would show that both sabers have broken down and “finished their journey”. Would make the ending scene make much more sense.
