I agree that it was nice having season 1 as a re-introduction to Star Wars of sorts, and very self-contained - even the concept of Jedi are explained. But season 2 doesn’t seem to have confused casual fans or newcomers, in fact it’s got them exploring more of Star Wars. They’ll have questions, but they’re questions out of curiosity rather than a lack of understanding the plot. I’ve already had someone who watched Mando seasons 1 and 2, then came to me asking what episodes of The Clone Wars I’d recommend. It’s great to see The Mandalorian having this effect on people.
