I am still in the process of editing, but I'll enter mine if they are done by then.

So far I've completed AOTC, on a DVD and everything... Same with ESB... working on ROTJ... still need to do ANH, TPM and eventually ROTS.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

couple of questions:

1) Do the bonus features need to be on the same disc as the main feature?

2) Are the films going to be screened on TV or on computer? I'm wondering if a DL submission should be sent on two SL discs to cut down on costs.

ADM,

i can't speak for the other judges, but i will be watching the films on a panasonic 16x9 42" screen and on my computer.

i would assume the disc question is moot. i think it should be whatever the editor decides. but i'm not the grand marshall dayv

Answer seems pretty clear: If the editor wants it to be seen in DL, then it should be submitted in DL. Fair 'nuf.

I'll wait to hear from DAYV about question #1.

I will be switching between a Toshiba 32 inch CRT TV, a 15 inch HP Pavilion, and an InFocus x1 Projector on a 7foot wide screen so I can really suss out the PQ on these things. I don't think it'd matter if the bonus features came on their own separate bonus disc, at least I wouldn't mark it down any. The 2nd disc would probably need to have their own menu structure and such that match up with the main feature, however.

IT'S ENTIRELY UP TO THE THE CONTESTANT. HONESTLY, I DON'T THINK THAT IT WOULD AFFECT THE SCORE EITHER WAY.

I don't know, just read it on here somewhere. Someone was thinking of turning Jar-Jar in a whole new character: a bright guy with a key role in the plot. I thought it was a very good idea. But I don't know all the fan edits, did they do that already?

what version do you have v1.53?also you will need more than just a serial,you also need a crack/patch and a reg file,but i really dont think Jay wants us talking about how to crack software here,i have seen others get told not too.

Can anybody with DVD SHrink send me the best possible quality version of the original Shaw unmasking scene?

I don't want to use OOT footage when there's SE footage of the same thing, but my only NTSC copy of the scene is total crap. The OOT version is actually better.

So does anybody have a good '97 SE version of the scene that they can send me? (NTSC)

ocpmovie should get a gold medal for all his star wars projects, and his fan edits are the best. I think the row47 cowlops is a close second.

Thanks guys.

I've also done a lot of Monty Python related preservation work including an epic Bonzo Dog Band collection called Talking Pictures ... which is heading toward a version 2 release soon.
