In memory of Andrei Tarkovsky on the thirty fourth anniversary of his passing I’ve been watching The Sacrifice. It’s a very beautiful yet deeply troubling and heartwrenching film. I highly recommend it though as Andrei always plants his films with wisdom that transcends time and space.
