TROS is far from perfect, but so are most star wars movie. It has pacing issues for sure, & i wish Palpatine was inserted into Episode 7 & 8, but take a look at the prequels, alot of what we love came from the expanded media.
I would love to edit flashes of palpatine into the 2 prior movies but other than that i can connect with the movie, it feels like a 2019 version of Return of the Jedi & i’m ok with that.

My love for star wars has stayed strong, and i am excited to see the parts be put into place to improve the movies.
