From being on the internet for long enough, it seems like the natural life cycle of an internet forum is for the mods and the users to turn on each other.
The inconvenient truth, we can’t just solely blame one or the other, obviously I’m not privy to the reasons behind all the tension but I have been on niche internet communities before and they seem to turn sour when either side isn’t kept in check, hope the community can handle it and carry on with as little bitterness as possible. The members I’ve interacted with here mods included have all been pretty cordial and level headed, if a bit passionate at times. Hope everyone, mod or user, banned or unbanned, can have a happy remainder of their holidays!
