To be completely honest, I’d download and watch the shit out of a cut of the Mandalorian wherein a whole season is cut together, only leaving out the recaps and end credits, preferably with timed English subs. I unfortunately have no talent or time or skill to do it, but even if it would be 4+ hours long, it would be practical for me. And now we have 2 full seasons, so 8-10 more hours of Star Wars content worthy of long runtimes.
This is almost what I did with mine. 4 x films approx 2 hrs 20 min each.
Trimmed two lines of dialogue.
Removed one scene that doesn’t work for me.
Moved three scenes:
- opens with mando as a kid being rescued (move #1)
- moves to peaceful village being attacked (move #2)
and then episode 1 start
move #3 involves moving the ashoka scene scene that starts her episode to later in the episode so it looks like she comes to the village, says what she has to say, is rebuffed and then she and mando go after liberating the village (I had to cut one line of dialogue here to make it work).
Cut - mando’s skype session with gideon. Just doesn’t work for me.
