Of course, I understand that you have different goals with your edit and I wasn’t trying to imply you should implement everything Hal did. Honestly, the fact that I brought in comparisons to Hal’s edit so frequently is because I haven’t watched the theatrical version since I saw it in theaters (only once). I bought the Blu-Ray and instantly started watching Hal’s workprints, so for better or worse anything closer to the theatrical is going to stick out to me.
