So I’m actually in the process of working on my own sync attempt mainly for my own curiosity since I figured out how to manual adjust speed for video and audio tracks in this program I’m using. This isn’t taking anything away from anyone on FanRes who’s contributed to this project, I just wanna see what I’m able to do on my own. Anyways so far I have this.

  1. The first few seconds I will be using the VHS audio up to til right after Van Sloan says “How do you do?” to restore some audio crackle at the start of the track missing on the LD audio (I believe I mentioned this in a prior post). After that it cuts to the LD audio.

  2. The LD audio more or less syncs up with everything up until the end of the lecture/brain stealing scene where I noticed there’s an edit in the LD audio during the transition to the next scene. I’ll likely fix this with the VHS audio as well.

That’s about all I have for now but I will continue to post! 😉
