This new(-ly released) footage from Han and Leia’s first kiss vastly improves the scene, imo.
Ah, so that explains the continuity error! Leia always looked uncomfortable in the close-up shot, then looked kind of into it in the next shot.
Wonder why they cut that bit. Not only does it fix that error, it also makes the scene a lot less creepy.
