I have to see the next beta, I think the grain is very nice but maybe too much, really wonderful in a still image but overpowering in motion, I disagree the grain should be any larger, if anything I think it would be better to go smaller so it can stay dense.

I know this is a screen from a totally unrelated movie, but I wanted an example of a 2000s movie shot on film, you can still very clearly see the grain that really defines that print feel, but it doesn’t dominate the details in the face and skin tones: (2001) Mulholland Drive

The colors and everything else look amazing! I’m fully prepared for the final versions of all of these to be the definitive viewing experience to return to the prequels.
