It's hard to explain why, especially when I'm such a traditionalist, but I think it could work. It seems pretty multi-purpose. I am wondering how more traditional games will play. I guess we'll just have to see how things play out.

Someone either here or at IGN mentioned Punch Out using 2 of these controllers.
Yeah, I know of that, and I think it's pretty cool. However, I still have all of my old NES games and play them frequently, so there's not much I'd be willing to pay for. In fact, I own Metroid, SMB3, and Punch-Out. Ah, those were the days. When Nintendo was controlling the market. Of course, that was when they were also heavily censoring and removing a lot of the challenge from their own games...
