Does Oberin still get his head decimated onscreen? Might not be for everyone, but I really appreciate the bombast and spectacle of that particular death scene.
Yep, that’s still on there - kept a lot of the gory stuff which serves a purpose within the story, like I wouldn’t take the Red Wedding out for example. It’s all the gratuitous stuff that’s gone (a lot of Theon’s torture scenes in S3, the rat torture scene in S2 etc.)
Ah great. That’s extremely reasonable. Some of those torture scenes were also kinda tedious,felt like the writers were stretching it out until the other plot threads could catch up.
