I can see and understand your point. Partially I even agree with it, it is a little bit over the top.Though I think it’s a desirable episode. Why?

as you mentioned Qui-Gon, Anakins Vision
but also Ahsoka (she fights Anakin - even though she isn’t herself - Anakin brings her back from the dead, something vital I think, it emphasizes anakins problems to let go and the relationship)
nature of the force (later Yoda got his meeting with the whills - lost missions; in rebels we get the „Pathway between worlds“ where „The Ones“ Father, Son, Daughter also appears at a wall painting)
