I am just getting into Fan Editing (I've wanted to do it for ages but my 2.3 GHZ CPU and 3.0 GB RAM stopped Sony Vegas from working) and I am hoping to fix those problems in the future, I was wondering if I could help you maybe create a Star Wars Return of the Jedi Remastered. Because much as I loved you edit it was quite bad quality and I belive it should recieve a remastered release with 5.1 surround sound and a cleanup and upscale. I will do this all for you because I love this edit alot and I want to make it look like a proffesional film. This will include changing the Jabba subtitles to make them on the video and the same font as the original, rather than off the video and a different font. Can I have permission to do this.

 Absolutely! That would be great. Change it in any way you want.

Although, based on your comment about the bad quality, I wonder which version you watched? If it was the download from fanedit.info it's a different edit. That "Dan Edit" version is sourced from the PAL DVD and is quite conservative. This edit is from the blu-ray, and is the version I'm happier with.

So I don't know if this version's video is a problem, it seems pretty good to me - although it could definitely do with a 5.1 mix. It's something I've always avoided because I don't have 5.1 but plenty of people would prefer it.

That scene fully realised would have been one of the highlights of the film in my opinion so to add it in an edit would be amazing.

Yeah I love that idea (ben_danger's idea), and it would be great to see it in ROTJ:R. Really would feel like an emotional, ESB-type Dagobah scene if done right.

Just putting this out there, as it was what was in the back of my head during my earlier post: Lighstaber Build

... which details an incredibly well-done job.  It would be really cool if someone made a Luke ROTJ build saber to the same level of detail for an edit, Revisited or otherwise.  Theoretically, they could make it even cooler, since it wouldn't have to actually power the blade; there would be more room for in-universe components.  

maybe a little late, but I just found out about this edit ;-)

I got some ideas that could improve your edit:

- change the Coruscant scene to night, because we had dawn in the prequels, and the Empire has now full control over the planet, making it a dark place

Great necrobump IMO. I found my seven year old disc with this on it, one of the greatest ROTJ edits. Luckily I was able to rip it to a file. PM’s sent to the folks above.

Anyway, I’ve watched the edit, and I think it’s quite impressive. I do love Vader going to Coruscant, the visuals are fantastic and it was implemented well, even if it makes both Vader and the Emperor’s arrivals feel weird as they are clearly made to be the character’s first appearance. I would’ve moved the shot tilting up to reveal Vader when he arrives on the Death Star to that scene and changed the colors. The shots in that scene are also noticeably stretched; I think it would’ve been better to zoom them in then stretch them horizontally. But none of those ruin my enjoyment of the scene. I also love Luke being on Dagobah first. The deleted scenes mesh surprisingly well, though I’d be lying if I said it was seamless. It’s good to see Luke making his lightsaber back. I really love the thing that was done with Vader communicating with Luke in the meditation chamber while he’s in his X-Wing. The fan-film footage was all cool, though sometimes it was distractingly low quality. I was disappointed to see that the Boba Fett subplot advertised in the OP wasn’t present, that was probably the thing I was most excited to see. I guess that wasn’t implemented when this workprint was released. I also don’t really care for removing Luke and Leia being siblings. I never minded it and it’s been so engrained into the saga at this point that I can’t imagine it not being true (especially since I wasn’t around before it was true). It especially doesn’t work when Vader brings up his twin sister to taunt him even though according to this he has no twin sister. I agree with every bullet point in the OP but it.

Overall though it was very enjoyable.

What you have is the latest/ possibly final version of this edit. I have an earlier version that I believe is right before this one and it has the Boba Fett subplot which I liked. I’m going to upload and share it this weekend when I have the time…
