Just jumping in to praise your hard work on this one: I won’t say that I now like TROS, but it’s a step over the theatrical cut quality wise thanks to all the little changes. More importantly, they mostly blend so well that I never thought I was watching a fanedit. Great work and thanks to everyone one involved, really.

On the small cons, as already stated by other members, I am not a huge fan of the audio additions:

KoR voices are well done but I prefer them to stay silence (I actually often prefer less dialogues in Star Wars 😃)
the same goes with “for Skywalker !” added bit (even if I’m more ok with this one)
Palpatine clones: I think I prefer Snoke to be a clone than confirming that Palpy is one (which wouldn’t explain why he is in such a bad shape: best explanation is that he is the same guy who got blown up with DS2)
Duel of the Fates cue is very hard to notice: I wouldn’t mind it being slightly louder if there was a V2 of the edit one day

I would then welcome an alternate audio track so I could chose if I want talkative or silent KoR. It’s nice to provide both tracks Hal 😉

The Jedi Force Ghost is the climax of this edit alterations: so epic 😄 Even if I understand the reasons not to include him, I wouldn’t have minded Anakin to be along Leia, Luke and Ben during the last shots.

I believe for a conservative edit (meaning not a "Rey nobody "edit) I don’t see room for much more to trim. Maybe, if a v2 was one day discussed:

I think that removing Hux’s “I’m the spy” would be a wise idea for example;
also, removing the subplot with the Force calling the troopers to defect from the FO (I think it’s kinda weird that the Force “takes side” in a way);
the Lando dialogue with his grand daughter (something never clarified in the actual movie), but I guess removing it would create a jarring audio cut in the music, so better leave it.

I am thinking about creating an alternate track to add the complete Palpatine message. Don’t know yet if I will follow through the idea but here is a first mock up using the front channels (levels are not much corrected, it’s only a POC):

Again guys, very good work. The ST is overall quite improved by these edits. Whether we like PT or ST it doesn’t matter: we care about SW and we all always wish the movies to be as good as they could. Something these edits achieve to do.
