EDIT: I never thought a little air glider could deliver so much heat! Had a really great time with this already fantastic movie, this remaster packs punch! Still, it all blends very well and just as intended the new sound mix really tries more to enhance while not outright recreate the original feel, it’s still Nausicaa, now with some THX style. I did really notice it when the airships started, some of those noises on take off can really make you think Star Wars, when they went crashing the explosions are straight Indiana Jones, overall a fun ride that really feels full. I also tried this on multiple headsets with their own balancing, mix was friendly to all, towards the end I was watching with my more bass heavy pair and really got to feel the atmosphere of a theater experience.
