Is it bad that I was almost as excited to see a live-action Gozanti cruiser as I was to see live action Bo Katan? And that’s not saying anything about my excitement levels for Bo Katan.

Seriously, that was, that was awesome. I was in danger of breaking my teeth I was grinning so hard during that episode. Katee Sackhoff knocks Bo Katan’s live action debut out of the park, cinematography and world-building great (Trask is such an iconic new location!), the Cruiser was a great setpiece and had well-staged fight scenes, and it’s also worth mentioning they resolved the story of frog lady very nicely. I liked the ‘baby yoda eats eggs’ jokes well enough, but I hope a lot of those who didn’t now feel that baby yoda’s redeemed himself a bit, after seeing how guilty he is!

The prospect of the secret “fleet” that we almost got to see, as well as Ahsoka’s namedrop, has me very excited. I was expecting that latter moment since the bar scene, and even before season 2 released I theorised that Bo Katan would direct Mando to Ahsoka (or even vice versa), but finally hearing it set in stone is gratifying as hell. Huge congratulations to Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon Favreau, and the lot of those geniuses at Lucasfilm. This is the way.
