If The Mandalorian continues to impress at this level, it may eventually become my favorite Star Wars of all, even more so than the movies.
Definitely up there with Star Wars and Empire for me. It’s simple enough storytelling, and that’s part of why it’s so compelling. The parent and child dynamic is so quintessential to Star Wars, except now it feels more relevant to real life.
The Clone Wars finale, the Star Wars Rebels finale, and Rogue One are my other favourite pieces of Disney era content and as a matter of fact they’re ALL ‘up there’. If you ask me, it’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan.
