I mean, I think Poe’s character development in TLJ was more about learning to become a mature leader. Doesn’t mean he can’t still do risky shit on his own

It felt like a Star Trek scene… maybe that’s just because something similar was done in one of Abrams’ Trek films, and was done again with beaming as recently as the season three premiere of Discovery.
I get that it’s a cool looking scene, and I get that people don’t like the “Holdo Manoeuvre”… but that at least had basis in Star Wars as far back as the original film. The skipping goes against how light speed has otherwise worked, as people are most often sitting around and waiting while in hyperspace.
It’s pretty, but doesn’t really work.
