I wasn’t awhere someone had carried on with what Smudger9 had started this I must see PM sent ExpandedUniverses. Reading your comments don’t be too concerned about your editing side I’ve seen enough fanedits to see an editors intentions and can look beyond an editors skill levels if the story shines though enough. You can only improve your skills with time 😉

Thanks for your kind words, they mean a lot to me. : ) I think my editing skills have definitely improved past what they were when I started.
My first Game of Thrones edit (which has been lost now) was very low-quality and the plot didn’t flow too well. Someone told me it was good, but it felt more like a compilation of events than a standalone film. I agree with that, so I tried to make future edits flow better.
Another example of how I’ve been improving would be how I used to use text cards to explain what happened between Clone Wars episodes, rather than weaving the plots together in the crawl like I do now. And my old way takes you out of the experience rather than just letting the story flow on its own.
I’ve also learned to let the story take the necessary amount of time to tell. My old Clone Wars edits tried to condense everything into a trilogy, which is not enough time to tell the whole amazing story of the series. So I ended up doing a six-film saga for my latest attempt.
And I recently figured out how to make audio fade out better, so that’s good.
Anyway, fanediting just takes a lot of practice and I believe I’m getting better at it now! : )

I sent you a link.
