I would to personally ask Lucas what the Whills are. Are they the same as the Force Priestesses?

I really get the impression from taking into account this, George’s conversation with James Cameron, and the Yoda arc that they’re Immortal beings who study and watch the events of the mortal beings and they are the Force. They created Anakin to combat the growing threat of the Dark Side which took the Force out of Balance as it may have always been told by a central Whill. It makes me wonder if part of the journey of the Sequel Trilogy would’ve been about the grandchildren of Anakin discovering their deeper connection to the Force. Similar in a way to the Ones on Mortis. They’d become the embodiments of Light and Dark to maintain long term balance with Anakin serving as Father.

Thank God we never got George Lucas’s sequel trilogy

Pretty unnecessary bump.

I’m interested in the story Lucas had in mind for Luke, if he even had come up with a story arc beyond new female student shows up and Luke is reluctant to train her. I’m not interested in the Midichlorian world and i’m glad Disney said no to that.

I’m fine with the story we got for the sequel trilogy. But they should have filled in the story of what happened between Return of the Jedi and Last Jedi. We never got to see Luke as a Jedi master or to rebuild the order, we never got to see the New Republic and how Democracy was restored.
They never said where the first order came from or what happens to the remnants of the Empire.
