Hello. I never seen a laserdisc video, and would give up a few days pay just to see its quality. I’m a huge animation fan (Western & Japanese), owning a small, but what I feel is the absolute best Japanimation has to offer, imported Japanese DVD/Blu-ray collection (16 DVD/8 BD), starting with Valley of The Wind and ending with Millennium actress, with none of what it’s devolved into now: low-res-matted-lolicon-infested-computer-graphics. But that last self coined term is irrelevant. My question is: are there any artifacts in laserdisc, like there are on DVD (Macroblocking & Pixelation), that regularly occur in the absent of light.
