For TROS there is no way around the spirit transfer ritual. It’s an integral part of the plot, so discussion of its removal is moot.
Except you could easily make it so that sucking the lifeforce of the dyad was Palpatine’s plan all along, allowing you to remove any mention of soul transfer.
You can cut any scene you want in a fanedit (such as the Sith ritual). But this can have consequences… the required cutting of other scenes. The logical consequences of cutting the ritual ends with no Knights of Ren fight and Kylo Ren abruptly appearing with Rey, and armed with a lightsaber. The ritual is less bad than what you would end up with removing it.
