This edit is great! I didn’t think the TROS trailer music would function, but it really does! Especially in the final act of the film. I sorely missed Finn, didn’t really miss underwritten Rose Tico.

I also think there’s room for other editors who’d still want to include truncated versions of Leia being blown into space, and the subsequent Canto Bight and/or mutiny subplots to use this as a base.

One thing that stood out to me was Hux going from a frantic “OPEN FIRE” to being calm and collected just a couple shots later. It’s one of the only things that stood out as a potential “acting continuity” error. Not much to do there if you are keeping with all comedy removed in that scene though- so I do understand.
